IU Health is comprised of hospitals, physicians and allied services dedicated to providing preeminent care throughout Indiana and beyond.
IU Health Quality Partners is a physician-led and physician-managed clinical integration program, offering the resources, expertise and experience to provide the best practice delivery and highest level of patient care while eliminating inefficiencies to reduce costs. The program currently has over 2,700 specialty and primary care physicians throughout the state, both independent and employed by IU Health Physicians and other participating health systems. Research conducted by Indiana University School of Medicine faculty gives IU Health physicians and patients access to the most leading-edge and comprehensive treatment options. Every day, Indiana University Health team members positively impact statewide communities by carrying out the IU Health mission through clinical care, education, research and service. IU Health also makes significant investments around the state through community benefit initiatives, financial assistance and through creating partnerships to improve the health of community members. 
In 2013, IU Health provided over $500 million in community benefit efforts including but not limited to: offering financial assistance to patients who are unable to pay; educating health professionals; engaging in innovative clinical research; and community outreach initiatives that improve the health of community members. As a part of our commitment to provide high-quality care regardless of a patient's ability to pay, IU Health provided nearly $319 million in free or reduced-cost healthcare to more than 415,000 patients.
